Even grown-ups want learning to be fun!
Following is a mini-lesson about keeping Hardy Heart healthy...

Excerpt
“Let’s talk about preventing heart disease with exercise. Exercise is one of the major factors in preventing the number one killer - heart disease. There are two main types of cholesterol: LDL and HDL. This top picture shows a build up of cholesterol on the inside wall of the artery. This is LDL, the bad cholesterol. Keep in mind that new research indicates that the LDL cholesterol can build up inside the actual artery lining as soft plaque. The smaller the LDL particles the more this soft plaque builds up and the more dangerous they actually are. An easy way to remember that LDL cholesterol is bad, is to think of “L” for LOUSY. Notice that the opening through which the blood flows is becoming smaller and smaller. The HDL is the good cholesterol. The HDL can be thought of as “H” for HEALTHY HELPERS. These little workers clean up and chisel away the bad cholesterol from your arteries. Guess what increases the good HDL cholesterol? EXERCISE!”
